The Symposium included two round tables and a lecture. The first round table, entitled The importance of local policy in tourism, was attended by the mayors of Pals, Carles Pi. of Figueres, Jordi Masquef, and of Castell d'Aro, Playa de Aro and Se Agaró, Mauricio Jiménez; and also by the councilor of the Promotion Area of the City of Lloret de Mar, Frederic Guich, and the county councilor of Tourism of the county council of Cerdanya, Mar Quera. The second round table, with the title We are a TOP destination, and now what?, counted with the president of the Commission of Tourism and Services of Foment del Treball, Miquel Gotanegra; the university professor of the area of Foundations of Economic Analysis of the UdG Anna Garriga; the director of the Hotel & Diving Las Islas del Estartit, Genís Dalmau; the consultant in Strategic Communication Pau Canaleta; and the president of the Board of Girona of the College of Journalists of Catalonia, Jordi Grau. The two round tables were moderated by the president of the Girona Tourism Board, Jaume Dulsat. The presentation, entitled What innovations in AI are redefining the future of tourism, was given by Albert Pérez, co-founder of Hospitalidad Emprendedora (Entrepreneurial Hospitality)
