On Wednesday 22nd February 2023, at 11am, the ceremony of the awarding of the diplomas of distinction for the Commitment to Quality Tourism (SICTED) was held at Ca La Pruna in Pals, and as every year we attended to collect our diploma of continuity for another year, along with 70 companies and entities committed to the commitment: local police security forces, tourist offices, tourist accommodation of all kinds (HUTs, ATs, hotels, campsites, ...), active tourism companies, guides, restaurants, museums, centres of interest and beaches.
This quality plan is based on the Integral System of Spanish Tourism Quality in Destinations (SICTED), promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. SICTED is currently implemented in 190 destinations in Spain with more than 13,000 member and/or distinguished companies.
The diploma is a further recognition for our work well done and a seal of quality and the result of constant improvement, as well as good practices and the effort we always put into renewing ourselves and taking the necessary steps to improve our services, products and customer service.
The awards ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Pals, Carles Pi, the President of the Baix Empordà County Council, Joan Manel Loureiro, and the First Vice-President and County Councillor for Tourism, Xavier Dilmé.
